SDC vs Fringe on hill 1 is the battle between Tartan Football Offense and Defense, both recruiting a freshman for the task from opposite sides of the pigskin. (no Beta-Fringe connection evident despite Compubookie's assertion)

SDC senior duo on 4-5 is intact from last year and was unbeatable ... pulling away from Fringe by 2 seconds last year.

Fringe has 2 buggy virgins pushing critical hills 1 and 4 ... do they have enough transition practice under their belts?
Watch if their C-team hill 3 now on A-team 5 can make the transition to the flats.

Pika is depending on hungry B-teamers from last year putting in good training in the off-season and earning their top spots. Watch to see if the A-team 3 from last year can carry them on 4.

Shit I forgot about this PikaB vs. FringeB Pika B 2 has a mean shove, passing Fringe downhill to the Chute Flag but Fringe rolls past them on 3, holds em off to the end where Pika Hill 5 misses the bar!?!?
The same 2,3 and 5 are now A-team.

SDC B is experienced and potent ... all previously 1s, 4s or A-teamers.

Fringe took mini-raceday but is stocked with 2010 B-teamers (2:48 last year).
SDC is bringing back some old blood to mix with the new ... Their returning '09 record setting hill 1 will start off a team with 2 new recruits ... only 1 returning member from last year's fastest team.
Pika has experience, KDR SSs, and some pep.

So, what's the take on the big gaps between A & B for Fringe, PiKA, & SigEp?

SDC is hogging the high-level talent ... Fringe B Hill 1 was a lethargic 19" ... but besides pusher quality ... Borealis (Fringe B) had a little tail whip in the chute and the rollout definitely suffered, announcers were pretty keen to point out Bonsai was heads and tails faster then the rest of the Fringe fleet ... whereas SDC is all clones nearly as fast as Malice.
