Race free roll times

Post by the cook »

It may be my old eyes but a review of the cmuTV replays tells me that no one came all that close to Fringe's 49 second free roll time of 2011, including Fringe. Fringe appeared to be closer to 51, SDC higher than that close to 52, and PiKA very impressive especially before they slid, around 51 also.

Anyone with a better connection and more technology and patience care to check in with more exact numbers?

I get 51 for SDC A, B and Fringe A. 52 for PiKA A.

did I hear commentator during broadcast (jess I think) mention she thought the Fringe A hill 2 was missed/weak? waking up at 3am HST to watch it rain in pittsburgh was not fulfilling.

I'd say the Fringe A hill2 was a bit weak but not missed. The Pika A hill2 was weaker to be sure.

Should have been a fast day but there was a bit of headwind coming up hill 2. The clock on the screen is useful for deltas but a complete mess on elapsed. It is -1 to -3 seconds versus reality. It would be nice to get that started with the gun.
