We’ve officially entered October! This weekend was Family Weekend, which saw our first look at the Greek orgs. We saw two whole days of mostly smooth rolls, giving us plenty of footage for an accompanying video report. And, I once again have car-related buggy updates to share — read on for more!

Plus a bonus shoutout to Dan, Guillermo, and Rob for grabbing notes and photos for me this weekend!

Well, clearly I angered the buggy gods by mocking the normalcy of rolls last week. While Sunday rolls were thwarted again (for the Great Race, not weather this time), Saturday was jam-packed with mishaps of all sizes.

We got hit with more rain again this weekend, leaving us again with a single day of rolls. And what a typical day of rolls it was — a spin in the chute, unwelcome guests on the course, and more in this weekend’s rolls report. Plus, we have the addition of a video report this week!

We have made it to Raceday week everyone! Unfortunately, Pittsburgh did not cooperate this past weekend and Truck weekend was fully rained out. We think this is the first time in the BAA era (since 2008) that this has happened. It may make for an unpredictable Raceday, we will see you there! The BAA Raceday Schedule has all the details! If you want to see our predictions and other important news from across the buggy world, join the BAA ASAP and email us so you can get our Raceday Preview.

We have one more weekend before its Truck Weekend, folks! We’re seeing more and more teams qualifying their drivers. Meanwhile, we have some late additions to the field, with SAE showing up for their first weekend of rolls this year. This week, we also have another video report from Rob, available here. In the reports leading up to Raceday, we’ll now be Highlighting any buggies that are qualified to race! Carryover rules have changed, so please bear with us as we try to crunch the numbers correctly…

Welcome back from Spring Break, buggy fans! James here, filling in while Dan has escaped to warmer (and likely less gusty weather). Despite the strong winds here in Pittsburgh, it seems the course was spared from road hazards and we got 2 full days on the course.

We also got our first look at the new buggies debuting this year! Highlighted in the table below:
